The role requires a friendly, customer-first attitude, teamwork, and strong communication. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus, and a Food Handlers Certification is required.

Qualifications

• Preferred Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a customer service role is required/strongly encouraged.
• Experience handling and preparing meat products is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.
• Food Handlers Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with product questions and selections.
• Maintain product displays, ensuring freshness and quality standards.
• Keep the meat department clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Monitor inventory levels and support ordering as needed.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Work collaboratively with team members and store leadership.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and dress code.
• Assist in other duties as assigned, such as stocking shelves or cleaning the department.
