You will respond to customer needs, keep areas organized, and work with the team to uphold safety and quality standards while adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to read shelf tags, signs, and product labels.
• Must work safely with cleaning solutions and operate equipment.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
• Meat work experience or similar in food preparation.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs.
• Keep department temperature logs updated.
• Train and follow up with Meat Department associates on temperature logs.
• Be personable, neat, and cheerful.
• May operate light power equipment.
• Learn procedures and methods of meat department.
• Maintain safe work practices and sterile work areas.
• Keep carts, tools, and supplies organized and clean.
• Maintain clean floors and a clutter-free workspace.
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Follow all rules, policies, and laws.
• Ensure essential functions can be performed safely.
