Northgate Gonzalez Market is seeking a Fresh Department Clerk for Store #44 in Costa Mesa, CA. This part-time position involves serving customers, preparing and labeling meat products, and maintaining department standards.

Qualifications

• High school education preferred but not required.
• Successful completion of an apprenticeship/training program or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and understand English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Observe store rules and company policies.
• Adhere to health, safety and weights & measures regulations.
• Package, weigh and price department products and restock as needed.
• Handle damaged and spoiled products per policy and control damaged goods.
• Maintain FIFO by rotating perishable merchandise and pull out-of-code items.
• Greet customers and assist with slicing, weighing, packaging and labeling.
