Job summary

Sam's West, Inc. is seeking a meat department team member to help ensure quality, display and service for our members. You will cut meat, wrap and package items, and assist customers with knowledge and care.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety standards, and hands-on training to deliver a positive shopping experience. Flexibility to work across areas supports busy periods and member needs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and provide quick, accurate member service.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: collaborate with associates to support the meat team and assist across areas.
• Be an Expert: maintain product safety and quality; cut and wrap meat to standard.
• Be a Techie: use handheld devices to drive sales and improve the shopping experience.
• Be an Owner: maintain area, stock, date control and proper packaging.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: deliver high-quality service and energetic work.
• Complies with policies and ethics; follow open-door policy and daily processes.
