Job summary

Sam's Club is seeking a Meat Team Member to help manage quality, packaging, and display of meat products for members. You’ll work on the front lines of customer service, smiling and assisting members to ensure a great shopping experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, organized area, applying product knowledge to assist customers, and leveraging handheld tools to support operations. This is a full-time, on-site role in Cicero, IL with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicating with team members and being flexible to business needs.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrates knowledge of floor operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and meat preparation to quality standards.
• Be a Techie: Uses handheld devices to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and support associate engagement.
• Be an Owner: Maintains work areas, ensures quality and date control for meat products, and helps prevent waste.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and club by delivering high-quality service and products.
