Job summary

Save A Lot is seeking a Meat Cutter II Floater at Zephyrhills, FL to cut, trim and package meat, maintain display quality, and support store operations. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include processing deliveries, labeling, pricing, and ensuring cold chain integrity while following company procedures and quality standards. The position is full-time with opportunities to work across multiple store locations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience safely using manual pallet jacks and power equipment such as knives, wrappers, scales, slicers, cubing machine, and power saw.
• Proficiency in basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Must read, write and speak English; good oral and written communication.
• Willing to work in other areas of the store as needed.

Responsibilities

• Cut and package beef, pork and poultry per policies.
• Wrap, weigh and price cuts per guidelines.
• Label packages according to COOL and USDA standards.
• Maintain displays and signage to maximize sales.
• Assist with product ordering and stock rotation.
• Prepare meat cuts for display and maintain cold chain on delivery.
