Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a motivated team member to assist in daily fresh meat processing, including cutting beef, pork, and grind, while following the production schedule to meet advertised cuts. The role supports the meat department by drafting orders and coordinating deliveries.

The candidate will organize deliveries, maintain customer and team relationships, and ensure safety and sanitation procedures are followed. On-site work with opportunities for growth within the Meijer Rewards program.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the writing of fresh meat orders.
• Organizing and checking in fresh meat deliveries.
• Maintaining a positive working relationship with customers, team members and leadership.
