Giant Eagle Market District in Wexford, PA is seeking a Meat Cutter to join our Meat Team. You will cut meat and other products for sale, package items, and present them to guests with accuracy and care.

You should have 6–12 months of meat cutting experience or complete the Giant Eagle Apprenticeship program, plus a high school diploma or equivalent and a meat cutting certification. The job includes lifting up to 50 pounds and a focus on safety, service, and helping teammates deliver outstanding

Qualifications

• 6–12 months meat cutting experience or completion of the Giant Eagle Apprenticeship program.
• Meat cutting certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Cut meat for sale by portioning from the cooler and packaging items.
• Serve guests by answering questions and filling special orders.
• Rotate and check product dates to ensure safety.
• Wrap and maintain meat case.
• Maintain safety as a top priority for team members, guests and products.
• Unload deliveries and assist in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation.
