Job summary

The Save Mart Companies, headquartered in Modesto, California, is hiring a Meat Cutter Apprentice to meet daily production needs and ensure high-quality meat cutting and preparation. You will display products attractively, process fresh and frozen items, and maintain cleanliness in the department.

You must be at least 18, able to lift 40 pounds, read/write/speak English proficiently, and provide excellent customer service.

• Sanitize work areas in accordance with company standards and health department regulations.

As a Meat Cutter Apprentice, this position requires employees to meet daily production needs and quality standards in meat cutting and preparation. Each employee packages, prepares trays, weighs and labels packages, rotates product and removes out-of-code date products. Hiring pay range: $17.60 - 29.45
