What you'll do

• Be a Team Member: Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicates with team members; and supports needs of the business across areas.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrates knowledge of floor and backroom operations, sanitation, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepares meat products according to standards; handles boneless cuts and maintains product quality.
• Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience; uses handheld technology to make decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools.
• Be an Owner: Maintains work area to company standards; ensures quality and date control for meat products; secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures packaging, labeling, and storage follow policy.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and club by delivering high-quality service and products; demonstrates energy and commitment.
• Complies with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity; uses Open Door Policy; applies these in business processes.
• Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers and partners; prioritizes tasks and communicates progress.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. The actual rate will meet or exceed the required minimum wage by location. Premiums may apply in specific circumstances.
