Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to create a fresh, welcoming in-store experience across Fresh departments. You will build connections with customers, share product knowledge, and assist with displays and merchandising to keep the store inviting.

We value a friendly, customer-first mindset, strong listening and communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to stay physically active in a fast-paced environment. Prior retail or food service experience helps, but isn’t required.

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
