Job summary

El Rancho Supermercado in Houston is seeking a Meat Clerk to support the Meat Department with a high level of customer service and safe meat handling procedures. You will perform a variety of tasks to help the team succeed and serve the community.

The role includes stocking and merchandising, updating pricing, ensuring product quality and rotation, wrapping meat, and maintaining clean displays. An early start at 5:00 am is required, with other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Stocking and merchandising responsibilities in both the fresh and frozen cases.
• Update Product pricing as necessary.
• Ensures product's quality, protections, accuracy, and proper rotation in coolers.
• Rewrap meat packages as needed.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation requirements.
• Maintains pork rind rack clean and organized.
• Keeps meat displays clean and presentable.
• Store cleaning supplies properly.
• 5:00 am start time.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
