The Meat Clerk must possess strong teamwork and customer service skills. You will work as part of a team to provide excellent service, maintain clean displays, and comply with sanitation guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Food Handlers Card.
• Prior food preparer experience at a grocery store preferred.
• Friendly and people oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work professionally as part of the team and provide excellent customer service;
• Verify prices, hang current sales signs, and removes out-of-date sales signs;
• Order and inventory required meats, seafood, and poultry;
• Sell products by providing customers with information needed to make product-related decisions;
• Ensure neat appearance of department and meat displays;
• Comply with sanitation and health guidelines.
