El Rancho Supermercado is seeking a Meat Clerk to support the Meat Department and deliver a high level of customer service. You will practice safe food handling and perform a range of tasks to keep displays tidy and stocked.

The role requires 1+ year meat department experience and a High School Diploma or GED. Typical duties include stocking, pricing updates, and maintaining sanitation throughout the shift, starting at 5:00 am.

• Experience with stocking and merchandising in fresh and frozen meat sections.

Responsabilités

• Stocking and merchandising in fresh and frozen cases.
• Update product pricing as necessary.
• Ensure product quality, protection, accuracy, and proper rotation in coolers.
• Rewrap meat packages as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment to ensure safety and sanitation.
• Provide great customer experience.
• Maintain pork rind rack clean and organized.
• Keep meat displays clean and presentable.
• Store cleaning supplies properly.
• Assist in advertising department products.
• 5:00 am start time.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Meat Clerk's role is to assist and support the Meat Department -- by providing a high level of customer service and practice safe food handling procedures and performs a variety of tasks.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Will have stocking and merchandising responsibilities in both the fresh and frozen cases.
• Update Product pricing as necessary.
• Ensures product's quality, protections, accuracy, and proper rotation in coolers.
• Rewrap meat packages as needed.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation requirements.
• Ensures great customer experience.
• Maintains pork rind rack clean and organized.
• Keeps meat displays clean and presentable.
• Store cleaning supplies properly.
• Advertising department products.
• 5:00 am start time.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• 1+ years meat department experience
