Job summary

Nugget Markets, Inc. is seeking a personable meat clerk in California to share product knowledge and deliver world-class service to guests.

You will create attractive meat and seafood displays, assist with house-made sausages, stock, rotate products, and help maintain a clean, sanitary environment across multiple store locations including Davis, West Sacramento, Sacramento - Florin Rd, Elk Grove, and Roseville.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knife skills.
• Basic understanding of English for reading instructions, schedules and signage.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Possess basic math skills for quantity measurement, proportions, volume ratios and weight conversions.
• Willingness to learn product knowledge.
• A positive attitude is essential.

Responsibilities

Our meat clerk's primary responsibilities are sharing product knowledge and promoting the department's items while providing world-class service to our guests. In addition, they also set creative seafood and meat displays, prepare house made sausages, stock and rotate product properly, ensure inventory control and shrink, and maintain a clean, sanitary and attractive work environment. This position requires travel to the following locations: Davis, West Sacramento, Sacramento - Florin Rd, Elk Grove, Roseville.

Qualifications
