Job summary

Meijer in Ohio is seeking a Meat Clerk to deliver friendly service, share product knowledge, and maintain fresh displays across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.

You will build positive connections with customers, help them find what they need, and keep displays fresh and organized while following safety procedures; weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
