Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets in Rochester, NY is seeking a part-time Meat Department team member to educate customers on different types and cuts of meat and ensure freshness throughout the day. You will work with a team to provide excellent service and help customers as they plan meals.

The role involves stocking shelves and service counters, preparing items for display by cutting, packaging and labeling products, and assisting with deliveries as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Availability: Afternoon, Evening (including weekends). Shifts end as late as 8pm
• Part time hours

Responsibilities

• Keep shelves and service counter stocked with fresh products
• Take orders and prepare items for display by cutting, packaging, and labeling products
• May unload daily deliveries and stock cases, displays and backroom coolers with new and existing products/inventory
