Job summary

Meijer is seeking a motivated Food Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain appealing fresh departments. You will share product knowledge, assist customers, and help keep shelves stocked and clean in a fast-paced store environment.

You will engage with customers, learn job-specific technology, and follow safety and quality procedures to ensure a welcoming store experience across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery departments.

Qualifications

• Provide outstanding customer service with friendly attitude and product knowledge.
• Maintain clean and organized displays following department standards.
• Demonstrate strong listening and communication skills with customers and teammates.
• Be comfortable using store technology to complete tasks accurately.
• Stay physically active and able to lift and stand for extended periods.

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:
