Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver remarkable customer service in our Fresh departments. You will build positive connections with customers, share product knowledge, and help customers find what they need in a fast‑paced store.

You will stock, rotate, and merchandise displays, and follow safety standards while supporting multiple departments from Meat to Grocery. Prior retail experience helps, but is not required.

Qualifications

• A friendly, customer-first mindset and positive attitude.
• Strong listening and communication skills to assist customers.
• Attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced store.
• Willingness to be physically active, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Comfort learning and using job-specific technology.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
