Meijer in Highland Heights, OH is hiring a Meat Clerk to deliver a fresh, welcoming store experience in our Fresh departments. You will build positive connections with customers, share product knowledge, and maintain visually appealing displays.

Shifts run 4AM–4PM and 12PM–10PM with weekend availability required; the role involves stocking, rotating, and merchandising, using technology to complete tasks, and following food safety standards to keep customers safe and satisfied.

Formación

• Experience in retail or food service is helpful, but not required.
• Must be able to lift, stand, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

What You'll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You'll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
