Job summary

What You’ll Do

As a Meat Clerk at Festival Foods, your responsibilities will include

  • Deliver Helpful Service Provide exceptional guest service at the meat counter and on the sales floor, including fulfilling special orders and answering product questions.
  • Maintain fresh, well‑stocked displays by inspecting, rotating, and replenishing meat products and supplies.
  • Honor Commitments Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.
  • Collaborate with the Team Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For

To succeed as a Festival Foods Meat Clerk, you should have

  • Strong Communication Skills Ability to effectively engage with guests, leaders, and retail sales associates. Utilize strong written and verbal skills to work with a crew in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Food Safety A willingness to learn food safety standards, proper equipment usage (like slicers), and inventory practices.
  • Ability to Multitask and stay customer service focused in a busy retail grocery environment.
  • Safety Mindset An understanding of safety and food safety practices and a commitment to following them. This role requires proper training and knowledge of equipment and procedures, including slicers, proper lifting techniques, trash compactor, baler, etc.

Work Schedule

This is a part‑time or full‑time position with varying shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
