Tony's Fresh Market, LLC is seeking a Meat Clerk to join our fast-paced meat department in Bolingbrook, IL. You will work alone or with others in a cool environment, handling tasks from stocking and wrapping to assisting customers.

You will operate equipment such as auto wrapper, scale, and slicer, and you must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. We value organization, clear communication, and the ability to thrive in a busy store.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, clean up, and sanitize work stations as assigned by Meat Staff leader.
• Clean display cases and fill supplies when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Meat Clerks are responsible for working in a fast-paced multi-functional environment alone or with other people in a cool/cold environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers when applicable
• Must work quickly and carefully while stocking/wrapping items at a reasonable expectancy
• Handle various raw meat products to wrap, price, and stock into display cases
• Operate meat department equipment such as auto wrapper, scale, slicer, etc.
• Lift and load product weighing up to 50lbs
• Sweep, clean up, and sanitize work stations as assigned by Meat Staff leader
• Clean display cases and fill supplies when needed
• Other duties as assigned

• Regularly required to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.
• The work environment is typical of a retail store. The noise level ranges from quiet to loud.
• The store level varies from regular temperature to some cooler areas.
• Minimal sitting is required.

Store hours of operation: 7am-10pm 7 days a week

Starting pay is negotiable.

Disclaimer:

Pay scale $15.00 - $20.00

*Manager roles have a bonus target potential paid out quarterly based on company results/metrics.

Within this range, individual pay is determined by location and other factors including, but not limited to, specific skills, relevant work experience, and relevant education and/or training.
