Job summary

SpartanNash, Northfield location in Minnesota, is hiring for a meat production and merchandising role with hourly pay between $14.00 and $16.50. The position offers full-time benefits and opportunities to work across departments in our SpartanNash Retail stores.

The job requires basic math, reading and comprehension of documents, attention to detail, and reliable teamwork. Prior retail experience is preferred, with a high school diploma or GED; safety and guest experience guidelines are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and Produce Meat Products to Production Planner.
• Package and Label Meat Products per program plan.
• Merchandise Meat Products per Flight plan/Merchandising Expectations.
• Stock Backroom with Meat Products - Rotating and Dating Cases/Buckets.
• Notify the Meat Manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Work as a team with other departments and Stores to achieve growth in our SpartanNash Retail stores.
• Understand basic functions of adding, subtracting, multiplying and division.
• Communicate tasks, recipes, weights and measures, and cleaning steps completed to other associates.
• Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines.
• Follow all Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations.
• Follow Guest Experience Guidelines.
• May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience need.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

COMPENSATION: Hourly rate $14.00 - $16.50 depending on experience.
