Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a Measurement Technician - Natural Gas in Wynne, AR to maintain gas meters, regulators, RTU/SCADA equipment, and related facilities in line with safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires applying calibration, inspection, and maintenance procedures, collecting gas samples, and supporting safety initiatives while working with a team in a dynamic midstream environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Detailed knowledge of EPA, DOT, RRC, OSHA, NEC, AGA, API and GPA requirements and procedures.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and communicate effectively with customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate facilities in compliance with specs, codes, safety standards and SOPs.
• Perform periodic accuracy tests including calibration and inspection of equipment for quality and quantity determination.
• Install instrumentation and equipment in new or renovated measurement and/or regulation facilities.
• Inspect and maintain all pressure and volumetric control equipment.
• Collect gas samples in compliance with safety and industry guidelines.
• Participate in partnership safety programs and initiatives.

Summary:

This position maintains gas meters, regulators and relief valves, RTU & SCADA equipment and related communication equipment, valves and valve operators, gas filters, and auxiliary equipment such as electrical generators in a manner to meet operational needs in compliance with partnership and regulatory requirements.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Maintainand operate facilities in compliance with applicable specifications, codes, safety standards and operating procedures.
• Perform periodic accuracy tests including the calibration, inspection and maintenance of all equipment related to quality and quantity determination
• Install instrumentation and equipment in new and renovated measurement and/or regulation facilities.
• Inspect and maintain all pressure and volumetric control equipment.
• Collect gas samples in compliance with partnership safety and industry guidelines.
• Participate in partnership safety program and initiatives.

Required Skills

Required Education:

• High school diploma or GED.

Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:

• Level C requires a minimum of 0 - 2 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience.
• Level B requires a minimum of 2 -4 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience.
• Level A requires a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience.

Required Qualifications:

• Detailed knowledge of applicable EPA, DOT, RRC , OSHA, NEC, AGA , API and GPA requirements and procedures.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills to interface with customer base.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PC skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel.
• Some college or technical trade school is preferred.

Working Conditions:

• Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Driving, walking, standing frequently.
• Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting
  Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.
