Job summary

KPR SERVICES LLC is seeking a field technician to maintain gas meters, regulators, relief valves, RTU & SCADA gear, valves, filters and related equipment in Wisconsin. You will perform inspections, calibrations and maintenance to meet regulatory and company standards.

Responsibilities include installing instrumentation in new facilities, collecting gas samples according to safety guidelines, and participating in the partnership safety program.

• Strong communication skills to interface with customers.

This position maintains gas meters, regulators and relief valves, RTU & SCADA equipment and related communication equipment, valves and valve operators, gas filters, and auxiliary equipment such as electrical generators in a manner to meet operational needs in compliance with partnership and regulatory requirements.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate facilities in compliance with applicable specifications, codes, safety standards and operating procedures.
• Perform periodic accuracy tests including the calibration, inspection and maintenance of all equipment related to quality and quantity determination
• Install instrumentation and equipment in new and renovated measurement and/or regulation facilities.
• Collect gas samples in compliance with partnership safety and industry guidelines.
• Participate in partnership safety program and initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills to interface with customer base.

Working Conditions

• Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Driving, walking, standing frequently.
• Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.
