A community service organization is seeking a part-time Meals on Wheels Driver to deliver meals in Central County, Kansas. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to ensure timely meal deliveries. Responsibilities include packing meals according to daily route sheets and performing well-being checks. This role requires the ability to lift at least 20 pounds and communicate effectively in English. Working hours vary between 9:30am and 1:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Job Description:

Essential Functions

1. Report to the designated meal site at pre-assigned time, unless otherwise instructed.
2. Review daily route sheets and pack hot meals, bag suppers, frozen meals, and bags per the route sheet counts. Pack substitutions as required by notes on route sheets or from instructions provided by the Nutrition office through the packing site coordinator.
3. Deliver meals to the consumers in a timely, courteous manner.
4. A well-being check will be performed on all consumers.
5. Morning hours vary slightly between 9:30am and 1:00pm Monday thru Friday.
