Qualifications

  • Requires active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; may be equivalent to 2 years of experience.
  • Master’s degree may be equivalent to 4 years of experience.
  • Eight+ years of directly related software development/engineering experience.
  • Experience in requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem resolution.
  • Certifications: CKAD or AWS DevOps Engineer Professional or AWS ML Associate/Specialty.

Responsibilities

  • Perform software requirements analysis, design, development, integration, testing, installation, enhancement, maintenance, and sustainment activities.
  • Develop and maintain software applications and supporting components per technical requirements and standards.

Job Summary

  • Seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to support the development, integration, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and sustainment of mission‑critical software systems within a highly secure environment
  • This position works across the software development lifecycle to analyze requirements, develop and integrate software capabilities, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure reliable system performance
  • The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer who can work independently and collaboratively within a technical team while supporting complex customer and mission requirements

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform software requirements analysis, design, development, integration, testing, installation, enhancement, maintenance, and sustainment activities
  • Develop and maintain software applications and supporting components in accordance with established technical requirements and engineering standards
  • Integrate software components and capabilities within existing system environments
  • Evaluate software performance and functionality and recommend improvements as needed
  • Diagnose and resolve software defects, integration issues, and operational problems
  • Support software testing, troubleshooting, and problem resolution throughout the development lifecycle
  • Participate in technical reviews, software evaluations, and continuous improvement activities
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation associated with software development, integration, testing, and sustainment activities
  • Collaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, test engineers, and other technical team members to deliver reliable mission capabilities
  • Support cloud‑based software development and deployment activities as required

Required Qualifications

  • Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is highly desired and may be considered equivalent to two (2) years of experience
  • A Master’s degree in a technical field may be considered equivalent to four (4) years of experience.
  • Degrees in Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar disciplines will be considered technical degrees
  • Eight (8) or more years of directly related experience in software development or software engineering
  • Qualifying experience must include activities such as:
    • Requirements analysis
    • Software development
    • Software installation
    • Software integration
    • Software evaluation
    • Software enhancement
    • Software maintenance
    • Software testing
    • Problem diagnosis and resolution
  • Candidates must possess, or be willing to obtain prior to start, at least one of the following certifications:
    • AWS Certified Developer – Associate
    • AWS Certified Machine Learning – Associate
    • AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty
    • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
    • Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
