Job summary

Foundation EGI is seeking an Individual Contributor on the Data Studio team to transform raw customer data into structured, high-fidelity datasets for AI model training, evaluation, and customer delivery. You will apply mechanical engineering and manufacturing expertise to create data pipelines, labeling workflows, reference models, and quality checks that ensure accuracy and reliability of AI systems.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering or manufacturing design background required.
• Experience with CAD tools and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with annotation/illustration software beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Ingest, clean, transform, and structure engineering data for AI training and inference.
• Design and build mechanical components and assemblies in CAD for ground-truth references.
• Produce labeled datasets, annotations, exploded views, sequences, and other artifacts for AI training.
• Define metadata standards and quality criteria for ME datasets.
• Collaborate with product managers to shape tooling for annotation and data pipelines.
• Partner with engineering/research for model data requirements and failure modes.
