Job summary

Morris & Dickson Co., LLC (M&D Transportation) is seeking a safety-conscious driver to transport wholesale goods between distribution centers and customer locations. This role requires strict regulatory compliance, punctuality, and professional conduct.

You will operate company-owned vehicles on designated routes, secure loads, inspect vehicles, and maintain accurate logs while adhering to all regulations. Schedule is Monday–Friday with alternating Saturdays; starting pay is $18 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• 9+ years of driving experience, preferably in delivery operations.
• In-depth knowledge of Federal and State motor vehicle regulations and safety protocols.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company-owned vehicles to transport wholesale goods on designated routes.
• Ensure all loads are secured and handled with care to prevent damage and maintain product integrity.
• Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Adhere to all Federal and State motor vehicle regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours, deliveries, vehicle inspections, and incident reports.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics personnel regarding delivery status, delays, or operational concerns.
• Assist with minor vehicle troubleshooting and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Ensure compliance with temperature-controlled transport requirements when applicable.
• Uphold M&D Transportation’s commitment to safety, customer service, and reliability.

• In-depth knowledge of Federal and State motor vehicle regulations, safety protocols, and commercial vehicle operation.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday with alternating Saturdays
• 4:00AM to 1:00PM

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling sensitive cargo is a plus.

Compensation

• Starting pay is $18 per hour but can vary based on experience.
