Job summary

MediLodge is seeking a skilled MDS Registered Nurse for The Lodge at Taylor to oversee MDS scheduling, completion, and transmission, ensuring accurate data for patient care planning. You will collaborate with care teams to align assessments and care plans with regulatory requirements.

A nursing license and CPR certification are required, with RN preferred. The role emphasizes timely PPS/OBRA processing, data gathering from reports, and participation in committees to improve resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. RN preferred.
• Active nursing license in the state employed.
• Current CPR certification.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PPS and OBRA assessments and RAPS completion and transmission.
• Serve as Primary UR Coordinator.
• Collect and input data for assessments and care plans.
• Monitor and audit MARs, TARs, flow sheets, and physician orders.
• Assess prospective residents with team members.
• Gather data from warehouse reports and QI/QM reports.
• Schedule and facilitate in-patient/family care conferences.
• Participate on committees.
• Input MDS assessments and ensure state transmissions.

Summary

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, RN preferred.

Job Functions

• Performs the functions of a nurse when required.
