PACS is seeking a MDS Nurse (LVN/LPN) to coordinate MDS assessments in a skilled nursing setting. You will ensure accurate documentation for care planning and reimbursement, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities include completing MDS/CAA timelines, staying compliant with CMS and state guidelines, and supporting audits while educating staff on MDS standards.
The MDS Nurse (LVN/LPN) is responsible for coordinating and completing the Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments in compliance with federal and state regulations. This role ensures accurate documentation of resident care, supports reimbursement processes, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality outcomes for residents.
This role has no supervisory requirements.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
