Job summary

Medicalodges, Inc. seeks a Charge Nurse with MDS responsibilities to coordinate the interdisciplinary team and ensure high-quality resident care within RAI guidelines. You will collaborate across nursing and Care Plan teams to optimize residents' plans and outcomes.

The role requires active RN or LPN licensure, strong communication, and leadership abilities to manage MDS timelines and regulatory compliance in a skilled nursing environment.

Qualifications

• Current registration as an LPN or RN.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and make sound nursing decisions within scope of practice.
• Possess leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents to accurately complete the Minimum Data Set and Resident Assessment Protocol. Coordinate MDS and Care Plan Team.
• Implement and monitor individual care plans for residents based on MDS Guidelines.
• Maintain a schedule of due dates for MDS and Care Plans including new admissions and those with significant changes.
• Submit the MDS to the appropriate agency.
