Overview

MDS Coordinator Opportunity at Rosegate Village

RN

The MDS Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination and completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) and the interdisciplinary care planning process while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and complete the RAI process and interdisciplinary care planning in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, preferably BSN.
  • Minimum of one year in nursing management in the long-term care industry.
  • Two years of professional nursing experience in long-term care, acute care, restorative care or geriatric nursing setting.
  • Clinical judgement/assessment skills with attention to detail; ability to develop care plans aligned with resident needs.
  • Ability to lead and motivate others to follow RAI processes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Strong collaboration and communication to promote interdisciplinary approaches to resident care.
