The role requires an LPN license valid in Iowa, CPR certification, and either MDS credentialing or willingness to obtain it, with preference for long-term care experience and familiarity with MDS 3.0/RAI guidelines.

What it takes to become a MDS Coordinator with Care Initiatives:

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing. License must be valid within the state of Iowa, or ability to activate.
• Current, valid CPR certification.
• MDS credentialed or willingness to obtain.
• Familiarity with MDS 3.0/RAI Manual and work experience in long-term care and gerontological nursing are highly preferred.
