A leading data solutions company is seeking a Project Manager Business Analyst to manage Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives. This hybrid role will require expertise in project management and data analysis, with responsibilities including project planning, stakeholder engagement, and data quality evaluation. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in data-related projects, strong technical skills in SQL and Python, and proficiency with tools like Tableau and Jira. This position can be based in Austin or Cupertino and offers a contract for 12+ months.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of managing complex data, MDM, or governance projects.
• Deep understanding of master data management principles and data governance frameworks.
• Proven ability to capture/document requirements and assess business impacts.
• Hands-on experience with data profiling and source system analysis.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or ThoughtSpot.
• Understanding of data architecture principles and data lineage.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of MDM initiatives.
• Analyze data against MDM needs and propose mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate harmonization discussions with global teams.
• Understand current data structures and gaps for actionable requirements.
• Define and manage requirements for data integration and transformation.
• Assess and document the quality of key MDM attributes.
• Manage UAT to ensure data integrity before deployment.
