Datagist LLC seeks a data quality and MDM specialist to bridge business and our MDM platform in Alpharetta, GA. You will profile source data, identify duplicates and gaps, and help define matching and survivorship rules to ensure consistent golden records.

You will collaborate with data stewards, write data definitions, and create simple dashboards to communicate data quality progress to clients. Strong SQL and data cleansing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing and cleansing customer, product, supplier, or reference data.
• Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills.
• Understanding of MDM concepts such as golden records, matching, merging, survivorship, and data stewardship.
• Attention to detail and the ability to explain data issues to business users.
• Clear written and spoken communication.

Responsabilités

• Profile and assess source data for completeness, consistency, and duplicates, and explain findings.
• Help define and test match rules, survivorship rules, and data quality checks with consultants and data owners.
• Review match results and data steward queues, resolve exceptions, and track data quality over time.
• Write and maintain data definitions, mapping documents, and steward procedures.
• Build simple reports and dashboards showing data quality and MDM progress to client stakeholders.

You will work between the business and the MDM platform. You profile source data, find the duplicates and gaps, help define the rules that decide when two records are the same, and work with data stewards to resolve the cases the rules cannot. You turn messy data into clear findings and make sure the numbers behind every MDM decision hold up.
