Job summary

Kronospan is seeking diligent workers for its U.S. manufacturing team. You will operate packaging and banding equipment to process MDF/HDF products, perform routine maintenance, and help troubleshoot when issues arise.

The role involves reading technical instructions, handling heavy machinery, and meeting safety standards. The position is a rotating shift and requires teamwork, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work in extreme temperatures.

Qualifications

• Able to read and understand technical work instructions.
• Able to operate or learn heavy machinery.
• Must be able to use electric, pneumatic, or hand tools.
• Must be trained and certified to operate a forklift.
• Must understand and use metric measurements.
• Able to work with others in a team.
• Able to work without constant supervision.
• Must solve problems creatively, solo or in team.
• Able to work in extreme heat and cold.
• Must meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging and banding equipment safely to package MDF/HDF products.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and cleaning in area.
• Identify unacceptable product conditions and initiate corrective actions.
• Assist maintenance staff with troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
