Job summary

Recruit Secure is partnering with a well-established, for-profit healthcare organization to place a compassionate Primary Care Physician (MD) in a part-time, 1099 role at a newly built Assisted Living community in Fishkill, NY. The position emphasizes flexibility, clinical excellence, and a meaningful impact on post-acute care with no on-call or weekend requirements.

Qualifications

• Board-certified MD in Primary Care (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine preferred).
• Active New York State medical license.
• Current DEA registration.
• Minimum of five years of clinical experience.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, evaluations, and follow-up care.
• Diagnose and manage a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate closely with facility nursing staff and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Provide education and clinical guidance to patients, families, and healthcare staff.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation using the Practice Fusion EMR system.

The goal of this role is to improve patient outcomes, enhance the quality of care, and help reduce avoidable hospital readmissions.

This is a part-time, 1099 position (2 days per week (any 2 days)) based at a beautiful, newly built Assisted Living community in Fishkill, NY. The physician will work collaboratively with the facility's nursing team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. There is no on-call or weekend requirements
