Job summary

77 consultants is seeking an Associate-level clinician for a contract, on-site primary care role in Miami. You will provide comprehensive primary care across all ages, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and management of conditions.

The position involves schedule Monday–Friday 8a–5p with call coverage and a collaborative clinical environment. On-site team includes 1 APP and MAs, utilizing Epic EMR, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school and board eligibility or certification.
• Completion of an accredited residency in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care.
• Active and unrestricted Florida medical license, with DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations including histories and physicals.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions across ages.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging.
• Prescribe medications and monitor responses.

Description

This is a contract, on-site position suited to an Associate-level clinician who is ready to take on patient care responsibilities in a collaborative clinical environment.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive primary care to patients across all age groups, focusing on preventive medicine, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions. You will work closely with support staff and specialists to ensure coordinated, high-quality care that keeps patients at the center of every decision.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions across diverse patient populations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients
• Order, interpret, and follow up on laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostics
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses and outcomes
• Provide preventive care, health screenings, immunizations, and patient health education
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and ensure seamless care transitions
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic medical records
• Collaborate with nursing staff, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals
• Adhere to clinical guidelines, regulatory requirements, and practice protocols

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care
• Active and unrestricted Florida medical license, with valid DEA registration
• Board certification or eligibility in Primary Care or a related specialty
• Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic acumen, and patient management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for diverse patient populations
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation
• Commitment to patient-centered care, professionalism, and continuous learning

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

Call Coverage: 1-3 days per month

Patient Volume: 16 per day

Case Types: 75% clinical and 25% admin

Current Team Structure: 1 APP and 5 MAs

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
