Presbyterian Healthcare Services in New Mexico seeks a General Surgeon to provide comprehensive surgical care for adults, including evaluation, diagnosis, and follow-up. Robotic access is available on-site.
You will evaluate patients across clinics, ER, and inpatient settings and coordinate care with primary care physicians and specialists. The role includes call coverage and participation in quality improvement while maintaining high patient safety and outcomes.

Physician follows standards of practice to provide direct quality care to patients. Assures that the patients needs are met and provides open communication with patients, families and other physicians.
Provide comprehensive surgical care for adult patients including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Perform a broad range of general surgical procedures including diagnostic scopes. Robotic access on-site. Evaluate patients in outpatient clinics, emergency settings, and inpatient units, determining appropriate surgical treatment. Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialists to coordinate care plans. Participate in call coverage, quality improvement, emergency surgical care, while maintaining high standards of patient safety and outcomes. Perform other duties as assigned.
MD/DO Board-eligible or certified in General Surgery with State of New Mexico Medical License required upon hire.
