Optigy Group is recruiting a Breast Radiologist for a Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM locums assignment in Georgetown, SC.

Fellowship-trained in Breast Imaging with MQSA, BC/BE within 5 years, and SC licensure; duties include Screening and Diagnostic Mammography, Breast MRI, Tomosynthesis, and image-guided procedures. No call, 36 guaranteed hours, ongoing coverage through 2027 with two Breast Imaging locations.

Qualifications

• Fellowship-trained in Breast Imaging with MQSA certification.
• Board certification or eligibility within 5 years.
• South Carolina medical license or eligibility to obtain.
• Experience reading screening, diagnostic, and breast MRI studies.

Responsibilities

• Read Screening and Diagnostic Mammography.
• Perform Breast MRI interpretations and tomosynthesis.
• Conduct ultrasound-guided and MRI-guided procedures.
• Participate in localization and stereotactic procedures.

THE CLINICAL FOCUS

This assignment is ideal for a fellowship-trained Breast Radiologist comfortable with a comprehensive Breast Imaging workload.

CURRENT COVERAGE NEEDS

Immediate coverage includes select dates and weeks throughout November and December 2026, with an ongoing need into 2027.

The assignment supports two Breast Imaging locations, but providers will not be required to work at both locations on the same day.
