Job summary

KBR in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a MCPP - Utility Equipment Mechanic to support the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program. You will inventory and operate fuel equipment related to Fuel System Tactical Air Field System, Amphibious Assault Fuel Equipment System, Helicopter Expedient Refueling System, and Ground Expedient Refueling System.

You will handle valves, meters, manifolds, strainers and fuel filters separators, maintain service life data for fuel tanks and hoses, and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Four years directly related work experience.
• Able to operate, repair and troubleshoot diesel driven fuel pumps up to 600 gpm.
• Ability to assemble a variety of mechanical systems and/or equipment.
• Ability to follow a variety of detailed processing instructions, and use judgment in planning work sequences.
• Able to work independently as well as a member of a team.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Possess a valid State Motor Vehicle Operator License and able to obtain and maintain a Tactical Operator License as necessary.
• U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and Base Access.

• Inspect, repair and troubleshoot diesel driven fuel pumps up to 600gpm.
• Ability to assemble a variety of mechanical systems and/or equipment.
• Maintain Service Life Data for Fuel tank (Bladders) and Hoses.
• Inventory, cleaning and storing of Fuel equipment.

Familiar with Service Life Data for Fuel tank (Bladders) and Hoses.

Basic Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
