Job summary

KBR, Inc. seeks an Engineer Maintenance Supervisor for the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program – Philippines (MCPP-PHIL). Initial training occurs in Jacksonville, FL with follow-on CRC training for placement in Subic Bay, Philippines.

The role supervises mechanics performing engineering maintenance on MCPP-PHIL equipment, ensures readiness, and enforces safety and policy compliance in a dynamic DoD contractor environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or coursework towards BS in mechanical engineering or related field required.
• Ten years of progressive maintenance and logistics experience with five years supervising activities.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen, possess or be able to obtain DoD secret clearance, US passport, FBI background
• Ability to obtain work visa and Alien Employment Permit for the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, execute and/or supervise all maintenance functions for MCPP-PHIL engineering equipment.
• Develop and maintain a maintenance program aligned with the contract SOW and Marine Corps policy.
• Oversee readiness, shop organization, and control of maintenance assets; review invoices and requisitions.
• Ensure personnel are trained in maintenance functions; assign work based on priority and equipment needs.
• Maintain inventory of repair parts and requisition replacements; ensure compliance with policies and safety regulations.
• Inspect work to ensure compliance with specifications and time schedules; interpret drawings and layouts.
• Maintain MCPP-PHIL ISO compliance and perform other duties as assigned.

MCPP Philippines: Engineer Maintenance Supervisor**Belong, Connect, Grow, with KBR!****Program Summary**The Marine Corps’ Maritime Prepositioning Force (MPF) and Marine CorpsPrepositioning Program has been operationally invaluable in supporting our Nation’s interests across the world. This unique program provides the essential elements needed to support and execute crisis response, global reach, and forward presence. The Marine Corps’ Prepositioning Program enables the rapid deployment of Marine Air Ground Task Forces (MAGTFs) and/or augment individual Marine unitsforward deployed. These forces are uniquely capable of strengthening alliances, securing strategic access, and defeating hostile adversaries. MPF is keystone in the Marine Corps’ capability for setting the conditions for national security. The prepositioning of equipment and supplies to support MAGTFs from Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), Marine Expeditionary Brigade (MEB), to Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) level employment, enables Marine forces to fulfil their role and responsibility as our Nation’s force in readiness. Our prepositioning programs will continue to enable operations across the Joint Operational continuum – including shaping, deterrence, seizing the initiative, domination, stabilization, and enabling of civilian authorities. When combined with the forces and their equipment arriving in the fly-in echelon (FIE), prepositioning programsprovide forward deployed equipment and supplies needed to sustain a MEB-sized MAGTF for 30 days of operations; thus reducing total strategic lift requirements.**Job Summary**The scope of this position is to supervise and coordinate activities of mechanics who are performing engineering mechanic duties on Marine Corps Prepositioning Program – Philippines (MCPP-PHIL) engineering equipment. The MCPP-PHIL Engineering Maintenance Supervisor will report directly to the MCPP-PHIL Logistics Manager.**Initial training for this position and onboarding will occur in Jacksonville, FL with follow-on USMC Contractor Replenishment Cell (CRC) training for ultimate placement in Subic Bay, Philippines.****Roles and Responsibilities**Plan, coordinate, execute and/or supervise the performance of all maintenance functions for MCPP-PHIL and MCPP-PHIL Organic engineering equipment implementing the following:* Develop and maintain a competent and complete maintenance program that follows the contract Statement of Work and adheres to Marine Corps policy and procedures.* Supervise and coordinate activities of engineering mechanics engaged in repairing, adjusting, servicing, and storing motor vehicles.* Oversee equipment readiness, maintenance shop organization, control of maintenance assets and provide advice on all matters relating to motor transport maintenance. Review invoices and requisitions to plan work activities.* Ensure mechanics are properly trained in all maintenance functions.* Determine sequence and assignment of work on basis of work priority and quantity of equipment to obtain optimal use of equipment, facilities, and personnel.
