KBR, Inc in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking an Equipment Support Team Mechanic to perform high-level repairs on diesel and gasoline construction equipment. Responsibilities include providing technical assistance to lower-level mechanics and ensuring equipment reliability.
This position requires four years of related experience and completion of specific mechanic courses. Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds and be willing to travel up to 70% of the time.
THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA
The Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) is based in Jacksonville, Florida. We provide maintenance and logistic services to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) in support of this program. For over 35 years we have planned, coordinated, and executed the maintenance and logistic services for ground combat vehicles and support equipment for USMC Expeditionary Forces.
Performs high level preventative maintenance and repairs to diesel engines and gasoline and diesel driven construction equipment such as tractors, power shovels, road machinery, air compressors, concrete mixers and other engine driven or towed construction equipment. Provides technical assistance, guidance, or training to lower level mechanics and assists higher level mechanics. Performs other tasks as reasonably assigned.
