Job summary

Virtua Health in Voorhees, NJ is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse with OB/MCH experience to join our patient-care team. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care while coordinating with doctors and other nurses to ensure quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, administering therapies, education for patients and families, and maintaining safety standards. Requires NJ RN license and strong communication skills; on-site, Day Shift, 24 weekly hours.

Qualifications

• Must have valid NJ RN License.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs an assessment of the patient, leading to development, implementation and evaluation of a plan of care.
• Administers, monitors and documents therapeutic interventions and regimes.
• Educates patient and family regarding disease process, care needs, wellness and safety.
• Delegates and monitors care rendered by other members of nursing department and healthcare team.
• Demonstrates standard precautions and patient safety principles in practice.
