Job summary

Infinity is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the design, development, integration, and verification of complex space systems using MBSE. The role focuses on Cameo-based architecture, requirements management, and system life cycle execution across concept to disposal.

The engineer interfaces with management, customers, suppliers, and cross-disciplinary teams to ensure security, compliance, and performance while driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Secret security clearance with ability to upgrade to Top Secret.
• Strong knowledge of system design, integration, and architecture.
• Experience with system security, data protection and compliance standards.
• Proficiency with Model-Based Systems Engineering and Digital Engineering tools (Cameo, DOORS, Teamwork Cloud).
• Experience in Agile development environments (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement system architectures using Cameo that meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
• Perform customer needs analysis, requirements capture and management, OPSCON/CONOPS development, traceability from system to component, modeling and simulation, verification criteria, deployment validation, O&M documentation.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance system capabilities and performance into Cameo maintained system design.
• Ensure system designs align with security, compliance, and industry best practices.
• Provide technical support for designing network, hardware, and software configurations.
• Support trade studies evaluating performance, cost, schedule, risk and other system attributes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess system requirements and provide technical solutions leveraging Cameo system design.
• Work with stakeholders to prioritize system enhancements and align program goals.
• Create and maintain detailed system documentation using Cameo, including technical design and user manuals.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
