The role emphasizes MBSE, ICD/IDD interface work, and formal reviews, with opportunities to contribute across the EDL lifecycle and travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Final secret clearance is required for consideration.
• Experience in an integrated team covering the full Systems Engineering Development Lifecycle.
• Proven experience eliciting needs and defining requirements with customers.
• Hands-on work with missile defense or space defense elements.
• Proficiency in MBSE using tools such as Cameo.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of new system concepts from stakeholder needs to technical approaches.
• Elicit and decompose requirements using use cases and diagrams.
• Lead MBSE modeling to capture the system under development.
• Lead interface development via ICDs and IDDs to coordinate interfaces.
• Support formal and informal engineering technical reviews.
• Create and critique interface documents, system requirements, verification docs, and estimates.
• Interface with the MDA customer and counterparts as required.
• Participate in Agile planning and execution.
