Job summary

Infinity Systems Engineering is seeking a Systems Engineer to support MBSE-driven analysis of space system architectures for the Digital Engineering Solutions (DES) product team. You will apply MBSE and analytic modeling to characterize complex space systems, and develop C++, MATLAB, or Python implementations to support modeling and analysis.

The ideal candidate has experience with SysML-based modeling, space systems, and collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in systems engineering and/or model & simulation.
• Experience developing or working with MBSE and SysML models for complex systems.
• Experience with modeling and simulation (M&S) of aerospace or space systems.
• Software development or engineering analysis using C++, MATLAB, and/or Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MBSE/SysML models representing space system architectures, interfaces, behaviors, and requirements.
• Develop C++, MATLAB, and/or Python software to support system modeling, simulation, analysis, and workflows.
• Translate space mission concepts and requirements into executable or descriptive models for analysis and decision-making.
• Contribute to modeling and simulation activities used to evaluate system behavior, performance, and architecture alternatives.
• Analyze space mission and system data to characterize performance and inform decisions.
• Integrate MBSE models with analytical models, simulations, and other digital artifacts.
• Collaborate with systems, software, and mission engineers to maintain consistency across architecture and implementation.
• Support technical reviews, trade studies, and customer deliverables.
• Communicate technical results to engineering teams and Government stakeholders.
