Job summary

The Architecture Analysis Department at MITRE offers an internship focused on systems engineering, MBSE, and digital engineering. You will help link stakeholder needs with architectural models to support mission engineering and investment decisions.

As a full-time student in a relevant engineering program, you will gain hands-on experience with MBSE, data analytics, and software tools, collaborating with diverse teams on real government-sponsored projects while working onsite four days a week.

Qualifications

• Student enrolled full-time in a degree program and continuing enrollment after internship.
• Familiarity with Python or MATLAB.
• Familiarity with MBSE, Digital Engineering, or related concepts.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
• On-site requirement of at least 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Support systems and mission engineering activities for complex government systems.
• Assist with analysis, modeling, and evaluation of requirements, architectures, interfaces, and performance.
• Apply MBSE, Digital Engineering, data analytics, and software development techniques.
• Develop models, metrics, and analyses to evaluate alternatives and interoperability.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to deliverables and documentation.
