Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a Model-Based Systems Engineer to advance MBSE practices and help build a digital engineering cloud platform ecosystem for the DoD, aligning system definitions with mission needs.

You will translate customer requirements into technical specifications, lead architecture sessions, collaborate with DevSecOps, and guide government stakeholders to deliver a scalable, secure Air Force solution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and architecting large-scale, cloud-based applications, including leading architecture sessions and providing implementation guidance.
• Experience using an MBSE approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines.
• Knowledge of industry-accepted standards and best practices for strategic planning, portfolio management, and architecture development and management, including UAF, EA, DoDAF, BPMN, UML, SysML, ERD, and IDEF methods.
• Knowledge of developing and reviewing enterprise architecture, including in support of transformation, system development, and governance and compliance of IT systems for the DoD such as FISMA or the Clinger-Cohen Act
• Ability to comprehend stakeholder needs effectively and communicate them via architecture models
• Ability to successfully work on cross-functional projects and teams
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field
